Royal Geographical Society Lecture
Seren will host the Royal Geographical Society Evening Lecture ‘Geothermal Energy’ on Wednesday 17th December.
The lecture will be presented by Dr Manju (Geoenvironmental Research Centre) and Mr David Tucker (WDS Green Energy). They will explain how shallow geothermal energy could become the technology of choice for large buildings. Five fully monitored sites in Wales are successfully delivering a compelling case for this viable alternative energy source.
A welcome reception will take place at 5:30pm in Cardiff University’s Viriamu Jones Gallery, followed by the Lecture at 6pm in Wallace Lecture Theatre. These are located in Cardiff University Main Building, Park Place, CF10 3AT.
This event is open to all and no booking is necessary. If you have any queries, please contact Dr Kathryn Monk on 07990 782 887.
The Evening Lecture is part of the joint bimonthly lecture series with Cardiff University and the Seren Project.
